Bio

I am an inquisitive and creative mind with a strong interest in the intersection between art, culture and technology. This resulted in following an MA in New Media and Digital Culture in which I wrote a thesis about "Post-Snowden Art". A self coined term that describes a new field of art in which artists are responding to the massive growth of surveillance in todays society. 

In order to turn my theoretical knowledge into more practical skills, and to find out how tech can be used to make real impact, I started the Experience Design program at Hyper Island. Here I am trained on aspects such as design thinking, idea generation, rapid prototyping, human centered research and leadership

As part of the program I am currently working as a strategy trainee at Havas Lemz. A creative agency that was founded on the core idea that brands shouldn't just tell nice stories, they should act and interact to prove their relevance and social value.

Bio

Hi, Im Rosa: I'm known for my energetic and optimistic mindset. I use this to unlock potential in people and organizations and I bring this to live as co-founder of Mischief Makers: a facilitation agency focused on collaborative working and the power of creativity.

Amongst others I facilitated workshops for companies such as: WeTransfer, The Next Web, Emirates, Accenture, PVH, Moët Hennessy, Skype and Uber but I also partnered up with educational institutions such as the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Maastricht University, ROC College Amsterdam, Erasmus University, VU University, De Bildung Academie and Jong Ondernemen.

What else? 

... I’ve work as a freelance communications consultant for FC Hyena, a small movie theater in Amsterdam.
... I co-founded Sama Sama, a travel agency that offers personal development trips to Bali for youngsters between 17 and 21 to help them figure out their talents, passions and potential.
... I'm trained in Digital Innovation at Hyper Island.
... I've worked as strategy trainee at Havas Lemz. A creative agency that is founded on the core idea that brands shouldn't just tell nice stories, they should act and interact to prove their relevance and social value. 
... I've done extended research on the Dutch Startup Ecosystem as part of my internship at Studio Spomenik
... I hold an MA in New Media and Digital Culture, which taught me to think critically about the rapid ways today's society is changing. This, combined with my love for art and culture, resulted in a thesis on "Post-Snowden Art".
